About us
Doagh Preschool Playgroup is a community based preschool which has been running for over 20 years.

We promote and encourage all aspects of children's development including problem solving, independence, language, physical development, self esteem, empathy and confidence. All activities follow the early years curriculum and materials are developmentally appropriate and support active learning for children. We strive to provide a welcoming environment and work diligently to accommodate the unique needs of every child.
Activities
We enjoy a range of different activities that encourage learning opportunities. In our playroom inside we have a sand pit, water table, play kitchen, reading corner and lots of lovely toys, games and puzzles. We love doing arts and crafts and using playdough, and children help to decorate the playroom based on our themes and seasons.
Snack time
We have a mid morning break time where children sit down together to enjoy a healthy snack. They are free to help themselves which encourages independence, as well as sharing and taking turns.
Outdoor play
We love to play outside when the weather allows. In our outdoor play space we enjoy our scooters and balance bikes, play house, mud kitchen and lots of running around!

Our sessions
Sessions run from 9.15am to 12.15pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Our term dates normally correspond with those of Doagh Primary School.
Join us
We have 16 places at Doagh Preschool Playgroup, and we ask that children come for at least 2 sessions each week. Applications are accepted all year round, and children can start preschool the term after they turn 2 years 10 months.
